HOLOCAUST ESSAY
Have you ever wondered how a mass extinction of a human race started in the 1940’s?
Well, it all started with an evil dictator named Adolf Hitler. No one is exactly sure why he hated
Jews so much but it must have been a very crazy reason for all the torment he caused to this poor
human race. This was a very dark event that happened which most people would never forget.
So with that being said, society needs to look back on the past and study the holocaust so that
mankind never repeats the mistakes that were made before.
This horrific event didn’t just start with the killings immediately it started slowly. One
of the first things that took place were the Nuremburg Laws, which basically took away the
rights of the Jews. After that there were violent acts toward the Jews, the most famous of
those was Kristallnacht (night of broken glass) where the Nazis attacked Jews and Jewish
possessions. Also the Jews were sent to “ghettos” where they were forced to live and
basically stave with disease spreading all around them. Surely after this the Jews thought it
wouldn’t get much worst but they would never be ready for the events that would happen
next. Once being in the ghettos for a while the Jews were sent to Concentration Camps where
they were made slave workers and treated very poorly. As soon as the German Nazis realized
how badly they were losing the war they had to think about what they were going to do with the
Jews, this is when they thought of the “final solution” aka Building Death Camps. The Nazis’
purpose in building these camps was to carry out the systematic murder of European Jewry as
part of the Final Solution. Permanent gas chambers were constructed in these camps. No
selections were performed in some camps. As the deportation trains arrived, the victims – men,
women, and children – were sent directly to the gas chambers....
