Did you think you would get away with it?

The rain thundered on the roof of the car as it wound around the steep, rigged cliffs; ‘this is going to be a great holiday,’ murmured Julia. The car coughed and spluttered, before shuddering to a halt right on the edge of the cliff face.
‘’oh no, now what are we going to do,’’ exclaimed Julia’s mum Kate. ‘’There’s no way we can get out of here. Julia go outside with the umbrella and see if you can stop cars coming any closer.’’
Julia stepped out of the car; the place wasn’t very inviting. The cliff was so steep and narrow, and the air smelt untouched and empty. She sat on a rock at the edge and waited; waited for some hope that someone will help...A few minutes passed when suddenly- her head started spinning; she was dizzy and lost, all the colours around her whirled in a pool of blurs. Everything suddenly stopped just as it had began, but this time she was somewhere else. Somewhere unfamiliar.
A few minutes passed before she realised where she was. ‘Why am I back home?’ she muttered, very confusedly.
A boy about age 9 jumped out of the kitchen, and advanced on her.
‘’Hello Julia, he sneered.
Julia fell back, shocked and shaking.
‘’who are you?’’ she stuttered, backing away slowly towards the sink as his blazing stare fixed upon her.
‘’come with me Julia I need to show you something, it’s important.’’
‘’ I don’t know you, why should I follow you, why?’’
She was now frantically leaning over the sink; she could not move back anymore. The boy seemed to sense the terror in her, and advanced again.
‘if you do not come with me, you will face the consequences,’’ his cold menacing stare penetrating through her body like a knife.
When she realised that the boy would not back off, she ran. Ran like wildfire, faster and faster not thinking back; just running, trying to get as far away as possible, but then she stopped. In front of her, lying cold and motionless on the floor she saw herself. She screamed and...
