Abstract
Our society is facing a lot of problems these days. Most teenagers are suffering from loneliness. Loneliness is simply the desire of being alone. Loneliness has some problems to teenagers. First, low self-esteem. Low self-esteem is due to the lack of confidence. The solution to gain self-esteem is to believe in yourself. Second, depression. The depressed person always thinks of suicide and the best way to get rid of is to have a group therapy. Finally, low attention by others. When teenagers’ expectations are not the way the wanted to be they get disappointed. The solutions are: stop getting attention from others and parents should teach their kids to respect themselves and depend on themselves. To conclude, loneliness is a serious problem that affects teenagers’ life. Parents should be more careful about their children.

Many problems affect our society and loneliness is one of the common problems. Loneliness is a common situation that most people face at their various stages of life. According to Merriam-Webster dictionary, loneliness definition is “producing a feeling of bleakness or desolation”. Loneliness gives you feeling that you do not want to be with people. Physiologists show that most teenagers suffer from loneliness. Although some people feel that loneliness is good for them, loneliness can cause serious problems to the teenager’s health as well as it has a serious impact on the individual social relationships. In this essay, three main reasons of loneliness are discussed followed by suggested solutions to each problem.
Low Self-esteem
