Answer three (3) of the questions listed below. Make sure you answer all questions in a question set.

1. Explain how the emergency management process works. What is involved?

The Emergency management process is the process of dealing with an emergency. In order for it to work you must be completely prepared for anything that could come your way and have a plan to get through it and recover from it. It involves making an Emergency Operating plan and executing it when the problem arises.
This EOP must consist of the execution, mitigation, anticipation, preparation, procedures, training, and the response. If all are followed through with then getting through the emergency will be survivable.

2. As the CEO of a business, discuss how you would deal with the media during a crisis.
As the CEO of a business dealing with the media I would first make sure that everything is under control and that there is no danger to anybody. Once this was done I would answer a few questions to the media so that they know what is happening and then defer the rest of the questions to my CSO. After the crisis is fully under control than I would have a press conference to answer any more questions the media might have for me.

3. As the CSO, discuss how you would deal with a bomb threat.
As a CSO I would first evacuate the building so that nobody will get hurt and call 911 so that the bomb squad can get on scene as soon as possible. There is no reason to take a threat lightly because there are many people in danger. If there is no threat that is followed through with than everything can continue as normal however, if there is a bomb than I would start to worry about who put it there after the fact so that I am not distracted while trying to save people.
