Howard Carter's most rewarding discovery , Tutankhamen's tomb along with the artefacts over the four chambers found in 1992. Today I will discuss Howard carter's most rewarding discovery Tutankhamen's tomb along with the sacred artefacts, the golden throne, Scarab bracelet and Tutankhamen's mask. Tutankhamen was the pharaoh during the new kingdom of Egypt around age of nine he ruled the throne for estimate of 10years. He died at the young age due to unknown cause with many theories trying to conclude his death but it ended no success.
Howard carter devoured his whole life looking for tomb's but the effort was paid off by the discovery of Tutankhamen's tomb along with the many artefacts found in four chambers. Howard carter was born on 9th of may 1874 in Kensington, London and have fallen interest in Egyptology at a early age. He started his career in Egypt by becoming a tracer at the age of 17. In 1907, his dream and life improves as his dream is step closer by the sponsor Lord Carnarvon. Carter almost lost his findings as Carnarvon had doubts in the success in discovering tombs but Carter was able to convinced him on another fund for another excavation . Carter was able to convince him strongly was because of two evidence found in the valley of the kings. Many people believe his find of the Tutankhamen tomb was a lucky drew but others believe it was the result of his dedicated work in the career in Egyptology over 37years.
In late 1922 he discovery Tutankhamen's tomb found in KV 62 of The valley of the kings in Egypt and it was constructed during a period of practically 500 years from the 16th to 11th century BC. it is located on the west bank of Thebes and is the capital of the new kingdom. The death of the pharaohs and highly nobles of the new kingdom are found in the valley of the kings this is the reason the area has become the spotlight for the archaeologist and Egyptologist but unfortunately many tombs have already fallen into tomb robbers...
