Human Activities Have Led to an Increase in Air Pollution, Global Warming and Ozone Depletion. Discuss the Causes and the Effects of These Problems and Suggest Measures Which Could Be Taken to Reduce Them

When humans create air pollution, the earth starts to warm up and this therefore induces climate change. Air pollution is created by us humans when we use deodorants which consists of CFC’s that over a long period of time break down ozone particles and thus without even knowing we depleting the ozone layer. Power station and factory fumes and methane from landfills all create air pollution.
Non-renewable energy resources such as; oil, coal and natural gas, all cause air pollution and seeing how much people depend on these resources, it doesn’t seem that this problem is ever going to solve itself. Thus, we have to find ways to use alternative resources to fuel or power up the things that depend on these non-renewable resources. Whilst we figure out what these alternatives are, we need to use these resources with moderation; we live a very egoistic lifestyle and we expect that nothing bad is going to happen by consuming too much electricity and water, for example. Deforestation allows more carbon dioxide into the air and it lessens oxygen, which creates a lot of illnesses.
Many new severe and fatal sicknesses are being created and other ones which are acting as a serious problem to many more people than 10 years ago. This is all because of the ozone depletion which is letting UV rays reach the earth. UV rays can cause skin to age faster, sunburns, eye cataracts, and skin cancers. The rise in sea levels is linked to thermal expansion; when water heats up it expands and melting of glaciers and ice caps, leading to the migration of species of fauna to search for a better environment to live in.
We, humans, tend to complain about issues that we created to the earth and to ourselves without ever trying to solve these issues. I think teenagers and also grown-ups should start saving money for an electronic car instead of cars that take fuel and whilst saving, we should all share cars or even better, we should walk for shorter distances. Reuse, reduce and recycle are...
