Meeting Human Service Challenges with Technology
Introduction
In every organization, there are challenges one needs to overcome. The human service field is no different. Within the human service field, there is a wide variety of challenges, ranging from data access issues to problems keeping track of agencies to organizations not developing a website for the community to access. For a company to grow, they need to embrace their clients’ needs. Technology plays a big part in the world today, and it critical to the advancement of a company. For a company to stay competitive, they need to keep up with the times, but with technology come different challenges. During the course of this paper, we will focus on the challenge an organization faces when they do not have an active website a client can access. We will explore possible solutions to these challenges with the use of technology. The technological tools that will assist in resolving the issues at hand and we will attempt to explain how our solution can benefit an organization within our community.
Challenge Facing Human Services Agencies Today
A challenge facing human services agencies today is the lack of organizational websites for the community to access. In today’s society organizations are often sought on the Internet before the possible clients contact the organizations by phone or in person. If human services agencies do not have websites available with information on the services available and the contact information needed, possible clients will bypass the agency altogether.
