This paper will be the Hungary. The paper will focus on their language, traditions, religion, climate, religion and culture. The roles of male and female Hungarians will also be discussed.
Hungary’s population is 10,000,000 people whereas the United States population is 300,000,000. Half of Hungary’s landscape is flat rolling plains of the Pannonian Basin. There are two major plain regions. The Little Hungarian Plain in the western part of the country and the Great Hungarian Plain in the southeast. Temperatures range from -4 F in the winter and 104 F in the summer. Yearly amount of rainfall in Hungary is 26 inches.
Hungry was once a Communist nation until 1989. Currently the government structure is the Parliamentary. Consisting of 386 members National Assembly each member is elect to four year terms. The Prime Minister of Hungary is Gordon Bajnai who is elected by the majority votes of the Members of Parliament.
The primary language is Hungarian but German, Russian and English is also spoken. The GDP per capitia is $19,800. Hungary is divided into 19 counties with a local government. Each county is subdivided into 173 sub regions. The capital of Hungary is Budapest. This is the largest city with a population of 2,500,000.
Christianity is the primary religion in Hungary. 72% of the population is Roman Catholics. The most sacred place if the Roman Catholic Church is the city of Esztergom. Esztergom is where Saint Stepney was born.
The communist system substituted the traditional holidays with political holidays marking landmarks in communist history. The major holidays were April 4th, Liberation

day. The day that the Soviet Red Army expelled the Nazis and gain controlled if the country, May 1st international workers day, August 20th Constitution Day.
