I was going through some of the requirements to be able to transfer, at that particular point my Counselor told me that I needed to complete three units from the Life Science category. At first I did not realize what I had just done, I had never taken a honors class in college, but I was determined, I have always liked challenges, this would be a great one. As the class went by, I was very anxious to know how much extra work was involved in a honors class. At the end of class I asked my teacher, for my own surprise it was only a research and a presentation. I had to choose a topic, I did not know where to start, but my teacher was generous enough to assist me picking up a topic. It did not take us long before we found the right one.
