Who is Odysseus? The most admired classical hero is most certainly Odysseus, the mythological Grecian subject of Homer's epic tale, The Odyssey. This legendary figure displays excessive amounts of brains and muscle, seeming almost superhuman at times. He embodies the ideals Homeric Greeks aspired to: manly valor, loyalty, piety, and intelligence. The popularity of Odysseus transcends time. To this day he remains greatly admired as both a hero and an ordinary man who must deal with great adventures and retrieving the life he once had back. But everyone has thought Odysseus had died.Penelope his wife did not believe this and believe that Odysseus is still alive and is coming home.Telemachus, Odysseus's, son who is twenty and is sharing his missing father's house on the island of Ithaca with his mother Penelope and a crowd of 108 boisterous young men, "The Suitors," whose aim is to persuade Penelope to accept her husband's disappearance as a final and to marry one of them. The reason Odysseus murdered them is becuase they had tried to take over Ithaca and have Penelope as thier own and was forceing her to marry one of them. They torn apart Ithaca and miss treated his wife and had claim Ithaca as thier land having no repect for the queen Penelope wife to the king Odysseus. When Odysseus comes back the goddess Athena his protector had made him into a old man and the only one who knows its him is his son Telemachus. They had came up with a plan to kill them becuase of what they did.

I think the murder that Odysseus did was justified.Becuase they should have had more respect for not just Odysseus but for Penelope.I mean think about it I mean come on if a guy put that much pressure on me...
