Instructions for use of the Projector

Setting up the Projector:
• Boot up your computer (most likely a laptop)
• Open the large pocket of the projector case
• Carefully remove the projector from the case and set it down facing the projector screen
• Remove the plastic screen cover from the front of the projector
• Open the front pocket of the case and remove both cords (power and input)
• Plug the power cord into the back of the projector and the wall socket
• Take the other cable (blue heads) and plug the corresponding end into the back of the projector where it is marked "video in"
• Plug the other end of the cable into the back of your computer (the plug on the computer should be blue)
• Remove the projector remote from the flap of the main pocket on the projector case

Using the Projector:
• Aim the remote at the projector, and press the red power button. You should see a blue screen in a matter of seconds
• Go to your laptop. If it is a Dell, it will have a blue function key in the lower left part of your keyboard marked "fn"
• Press the fn key, and then press the F8 key, which is also marked CRT/LCD
• Wait a few seconds and the screen on you computer will show up on the projector screen
• Using the large roller on the top of the projector, adjust the focus so that it is not blurry

Putting the Projector Away:
• Press the fn key, and then press the F8 key
• Continue to hold down the fn key, and press the F8 key again. Release both keys
• Point the projector remote at the projector and press the red power button twice
• Remove the input cable (blue heads) from both the computer and the projector
• Attach the plastic screen cover to the front of the projector
• Wait until the power light on the top of the projector stops blinking. CAUTION: IF YOU UNPLUG THE PROJECTOR BEFORE IT IS FULLY POWERED OFF, IT COULD BE DAMAGED
