Abstract
The main idea for this study is to introduce a new yoga studio called Yoga for the Heart and Soul, while looking at the products and services offered, customers served, and the studio position in the marketplace. This research analyzes few key concepts, respectively operations strategy, quality, innovativeness, benchmarking, customer value, kaizen, service defection, and just-in-time (JIT), studied during this class in effort to explicate in detail how each concept applies within the company and the benefits offered. Lastly, the research paper will explain the steps required to be taken in order to successfully implement these concepts into the company. Each concept must be carefully evaluated and the company leadership must decide which of these concepts will best suit the company long-term goals to be more efficient and effective.
