Integrity

Integrity is a quality that stands on strong moral principles and of honesty; in other words, moral uprightness. Such moral and ethical standards that are factors of integrity are consistent, and are largely a personal choice. This quality can stand up to different causes such as self-integration; individuality views of integrity see it as mainly a personal matter, a value demarcated by an individual’s carefulness of the character. Another would be for moral purposes; an ‘objective integrity’ which places moral constraints upon the types of commitment that a person of uprightness must remain true. Despite the different causes in which integrity can be used for, all have one factor in common: an individual’s choice.
Starting with moral purposes the quality of integrity positions itself with Ethics. Here, it focuses on morality and behavior. It’s known that a possession in each individual is a virtue of integrity, however if one’s actions are based on an internally unswerving framework of principles. These principles equivalently stand by logical axioms or postulates. Some can describe an individual having ethical integrity to the point that their actions, methods, beliefs, and principles all originate from a single core group of values that can based on the value system, a system united of morals, standards, preferences, ethics, faith systems and world views in which defines an individual, group or culture. Standing on such values, that individual must therefore be flexible and willing to regulate their values in order to maintain steadiness when these values have been challenged. Such flexibility is a form of accountability, in which is regarded highly as a moral responsibility as well as a virtue. The value system delivers a framework that the individual acts in a way that is constant and projected.
