*INTER*CLEAN, INC. JOB ANALYSIS PURPOSE OF THE JOB ANALYSIS Merging the strengths of the InterClean, Inc. and EnviroTech is a winning situation. InterClean’s future profitability hinges on the performance of an effective, productive, and assertive sales department and team. The job analysis will serve as the foundation for forecasting the need for human resources as well as for training, transfer, or promotion plans within the organization. The summary of task requirement will be outlined in a job description and the summary of worker requirements will be depicted in a job specification. Staffing, training design, performance appraisal, the method-purpose fit, cost, practicality, and overall appropriateness of the methods for the development of a new sales department was considered. JOB ANALYSIS METHODS Job Performance Method: Performing many of the InterClean’s salesperson’s job functions has been accomplished. Working with competent team members will provide the opportunity to gain more knowledge in the service sector. Observation Method: Observing workers doing a job, without interfering, will provide the what, why and how of the various parts of the job. Interview Method: Interviewing workers on what they do, why, and how, provides an overall description of the job. JOB DUTIES AND SPECIFICATIONS: The sales department is to converge with InterClean’s new service sector and provide turn-key solutions that include product training for employees, regular monitoring and info-sharing of relevant regulations, and executing full cleaning service contracts.
