Intro:
Dear Mr. & Mrs. Journey,

Interpersonal communication has many principles and barriers. The word interpersonal is
basically the ability to understand and interact with each other and other people. Communication
is basically how we exchange information between people. Now in order to understand how to
create communication skills, you first have to know that it’s a few major functions to the
communication theory. These functions will lead to great interpersonal skills. The most important
skills to keep in mind would be, the art of Informing; which is the ability to articulate and
express one self. Which brings me to Listening; you want to be heard but you also have to absorb
and pay attention. My favorite communication skill is the Non-Verbal tactic; the being able to
read body language. Once you have practiced all of the above skills, they began to become part
of our everyday lives. Daily communication shows our self-concept, self-image, as well as our
self-esteem. How you may see yourself meaning self-image and the way you present yourself
can determined where your social status goes. The way you communicate with one another and
others help you reach certain mutual goals. You tend to form stronger relationships using the
disclosure skills. When it comes to letting someone know truths about you gender and culture
come into play…….

Explain the principles of and the barriers to effective interpersonal communications.
There are principles to abide by that can result in great interpersonal communication
skills. Couple such as yourself, should practice using these particular ones every day, in order to
