To make the petals, you will need:






Two different sized oval cutters (smooth)
Rolling pin
Two different shades of coloured fondant, or two contrasting colours of fondant
Pasta or pizza cutter
Edible glue or brush & water

To make the Christmas Wreath, you will need in addition to the above:






Sharp blade (i.e. exacto knife)
Medium circle cutter (smooth)
Medium circle cutter (scalloped)
Small circle cutter (smooth)
Coloured fondant to make baubles and bow

To make the Petal Ball Topper, you will need in addition to the above:


Cereal treats or styro ball approx. 4” to 4.5” across

TUTORIAL PART I: My Version of Two-Toned Petals – 2 Ways
I came up with these two-toned petals after seeing rather pretty layered fantasy flowers on cakes, but had only ever seen them
done in a single tone. So I thought it would be great if I could come up with something that used TWO or more colours so the
petals would have some contrast and pop. I'm sure using two-toned petals is not TOTALLY original but I've never seen it done
this way before. It's not exactly like quilling either (which a lot have mentioned it looks like) but it is similar I guess!
