PREFACE

Summer project is an integral part of M.B.A. (4-semester) studies. Students are exposed to take up this project in order to get a corporate exposure. Summer project training forms a link between the classroom teaching and the happening in the corporate world. A student is exposed to aspects of management that are taught in the class. A student becomes well versed with the real scenario prevailing in the market.

Summer project training goes a long way in helping students to decide area of specialization. The students based on his or her strengths could decide the field in which he or she wants to make a career. Some students luckily convert their Summer project into final placement based on their ability and performance, so it is an integral part of the studies and career in the life of M.B.A. students.

In the same way I have also learned many things by doing my Summer Project in a reputed organization like “KOTAK LIFE INSURANCE”. This teaching will help me in my future course of professional life.
