As a formal District of Columbia public school general classroom teacher, I was responsible for ensuring that confidentiality and security was administered at all times. This included taking all measures necessary to “prevent unauthorized internal and external access to the student’s IEP when copies are transmitted and/or provided electronically” in accordance with Sections 300.500 and sections 300.560 through 300.577 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).
