Leadership Style

Kudler Fine Foods has a highly structured environment, Kathy has offered each store a certain amount of the autonomy. At Kudler Fine Foods there leadership is set up in in a divisional type of approach where each store manager is responsible for administration of their store. Which consists that each managers are in charge of the day to day operations of their store. They are responsible for supervising the employees to ordering and replenishing the store. The administration team efforts or supported by the inventory managers and sales team. That’s not the only group that reflects the team style, the employees annual performance reviews plays a big part to the leadership style of the group. Job descriptions are clearly defined along with the expectations of the job at Kudler Fine Foods. By doing this employees set goals that they must achieve at the beginning of the year. From the performance reviews the Kudler Fine Foods company has a primary focus on customer service including in this is computer programs, are being implemented to focus on servicing the customer.
Kudler Fine Foods is looking to maintain a strong and long term relationship with their employees, they offered a good benefits package for their employees. In their package includes a 401(k) program, paid holidays, vacation benefits and health insurance. Kudler Fine Foods hopes to retain their employees through job satisfaction and encouraging individual improvement. While looking through the employee annually reviews , its seems that the employees are not being rewarded equally for their job performance. The review for Craig Drohos (2003), stated in most areas of the review but the comments reflected excellent work and excellent service to the company. If the company does not respond properly to their employees service, then the employee may start to look else where or not perform about what is expected.
