Over the last two or three decades, cellular phones have grown into one of the most important technological advancement the world has ever witnessed.

Today, a cellular phone is more than just a device that makes phone-calls. It is a person's companion that acts as a guide, a friend, a communication device, a computer and a personal secretary, all at the same time. Cellular phones have made a deep impact on the way people communicate. This research focuses on how the communication of the world has been shaped by the advent of cellular technology.
