Lather and Nothing Else.
In the Story Lather and Nothing Else there are two characters Tores and The barber. These two characters share things in common and are so different too.
For example Tores who is a man who is fighting in the war. He is a much laid back man and a daring one too. On the other hand the barber is not a very daring person, but has some daring thoughts. For example Tores was a man of his word, he walked into the barber shop knowing what the barber wanted to do to him. He then laid back into the chair with his throat wide open daring the barber to slice his throat. The barber did not have so much of daring actions but daring thoughts. He knew what he wanted to do, he wanted to murder Tores. Why, because he knew what Tores had done to his friends and what he was going to continue to do weather the barber agreed or not. The one thing they really shared in common was they both knew and felt how hard it would it be to kill someone.
In this story overall I think Tores was the strongest man of all. I think this because he knew what was going on and what he was doing to the barber when he was “teasing” him. Even though the barber had the sharp razor he was not the one in charge Tores knew what to say and new how hard it was to kill someone so he knew the barber wouldn’t be able to do it. This is what he says at the end. “They told me you would kill me. I came to find out if it was true. But it’s not easy to kill. I know what I’m talking about.”
