Let's Go Groundhog

Lets! Go! Ground hog! Bethany Gottshall, from Apollo, Pennsylvania is a very down to earth young lady. Bethany is thoughtful, nice, cheerful, energetic, and outgoing. Bethany, a cheerleading at Apollo High School, she enjoyed not only cheering but loved the girls she cheered with. She got along with everyone, loving life more than itself. Bethany loves her family and friends, tanning, shopping, running, and working out (due to the fact she is a cheerleader).
One day as Bethany decided to go running in a triathlon for a cheerleading benefit race. As Bethany ran she gained the lead, then she saw something. She saw a ground hog running around the track. The ground hog traveled in the same direction as Bethany, as if he also ran in the race. The ground hog began to run faster and faster as Bethany and her friends were running behind. Finally as the race came to an end, the ground hog still in the lead, Bethany decide to just stop. Everyone became in complete shock. Bethany began to cheer and chant for the ground hog as it passed the finish line first. After the race everyone asked Bethany why she did not finish the race. Bethany replied “The ground hog was going to win, not me.” She remained completely oblivious to the fact the ground hog was not in the race, he ran from them. Bethany would have won first place that day at the track, but instead only won Most Sportsmanlike Conduct. Bethany became embarrassed that she thought the ground hog was in the race. Although, to her the important thing is the enthusiasm that she had for the winner.
