Letter to Me on My 80th Birthday

New York, February 10, 2060
Dear ……..,
This one has been a long time and I don't know where to start. After more than half a century together, let me wish you again a Happy and pleasant birthday! I know, there have been many tough days during these years, but you have always managed to get through the storm. Thank you for always being there for me and our lovely kids! You have shown them the model of a great man, father and friend. You have educated them with your own examples so they could become today’s professionals and build their own lovely families.
……, you have had a long and meritorious career as a manger. You have earned the respect of the Management, Colleagues and your Subordinates for your sterling qualities of mind and heart. I remember your starting as a simple specialist in your twenties, and retire as the Board Member of the biggest company in our country. All those great achievements of hard work and professional diligence were truly outstanding.
When I look back on the past 55 years and recount all that we have done, blessings we have received, crisis we have been through and all we have built, there is no wonder why we both feel completed at the end of each day. Thank you my love, my husband, my friend!
I adore you,
…….
