The Ashford University Library has been a great asset to me in conducting academic research on my written assignments over the last two years. At first it was a little confusing understanding the differences between library research and the internet and knowing exactly where the research comes from in processing research papers. However, I soon realized the data obtained from the library is more reliable and credible than research available over the internet. The majority of the publications in the Ashford University Library have gone through some sort of peer review process. They have been read and examined by editors, critics, experts in the field, librarians, or other writers to make sure the data is reliable. Ashford University Library also offers assistance to students in getting research help, information about the Library itself, and information on how to contact the Librarian if needed just in case you have issues on how to conduct a research. So far, I have not encountered any concerns while conducting research for any of my written assignments through the Library.
With all of my papers, I have been able to develop a research strategy, using the search function within the Library database and evaluated sources in which to use for my written assignments with ease. The best strategy I have found in which to begin my research papers has been to search the School Library for any key search...
