February 21 was a remarkable date for his parents. That unusual day, in Iligan City, marked the birth of one of the gifted Filipino poets, Ralph Semino Galan. Along with his birth, gives rise to his passion for writing. He was born with the innate talent in writing poems, stories and other literary pieces. Creative writing is what his heart and mind desires. His dream was to publish comprehensible poems, stories and books to share the happiness with the people by making their idle hours less tedious by filling them with humor and fantasy. Surprisingly, he was blessed being able to speak multiple languages like Tagalog, English, Spanish and Cebuano. Believing that his dream could transform into reality, in his heart, he developed the eagerness to learn.

His success was a mixture of sacrifice, commitment and perseverance. Hence, his favorite quotation by Albert Camus goes, “The lucidity that was to constitute his torture at the same time crowns his victory. There is no fate that cannot be survived by scorn.”
Currently, he resided in Quezon City to pursue his passion in teaching literature, humanities and writing subjects at the Faculty of Arts and Letters, University of Santo Tomas.
