The book name is called The Happy Prince and Others Tales, written by Oscar wilde. It is a story of a statue that is covered in gold and jewels .Everyone admires him but he just stands there alone. One day a Swallow goes to nest at his feet, and he asks the Swallow to help him to help others that he sees are in need. He gives away all he has, even his sapphire eyes which leave him blind, until he has nothing and is no longer admired by the rich men in town. The Swallow dies and he falls in love with the statue and can't bear to leave him standing alone. The statue is melted apart from his heart. However, due to the love that they gave to all they saw needed it. God gives them a place in heaven forever.Let’s move on to my assessment task. According to The Happy Prince‘ s story by Oscar Wilde, I prefer to choose the character of The Swallow. The Swallow is small bird whose is come out with many good moral values from its. The Swallow is a bird whose is very obedient, loyal, helpful and sacrifice. From the characteristic of obedient, I saw that The Swallow always obey every command from The Happy Prince. For example, The Swallow plucked out the Prince’s eye and flew away to the student’s garret. Next is Loyal, The Swallow such a loyal bird to the prince. It can been seeing by The Swallow said that he wants to stay with the Prince one night longer. Then is helpful, The Swallow helps the Prince and in the other side, he also helps to cheer up the people such as Match Girl and a young man in garret. Last but least is the sacrifice. Even The Little Swallow knows one day he will die because his getting weaker and the temperature getting colder,but he sacrifices his journey with his friend to the Egypt and continue to help and stay with the prince until the moment he dies.The Swallow is very important is this...
