Malaria is one of the most deadly diseases on the planet. It is an infectious disease spread by mosquito bites, it is caused by the parasite Plasmodium, which multiplies inside the human body and infects red blood cells. Without treatment, malaria can disrupt blood supply to vital organs and become fatal. Hundreds of thousands of people die from malaria each year especially in poor developing countries. Luckily there are many different people and organizations that are working to put an end to the spread of this horrible disease, unfortunately there are many challenges that have to be overcome before we can annihilate this disease for good. These problems consist of the availability of treatment in some of these countries, affordability can these countries afford to buy the vaccines and medicine for its people and other problems such as: natural disasters, terrain, customs, lack of interest/concern, corruption.
In order to stop the spread of malaria throughout the world a lot of work has to be done. A lot of needs have to be met. What the world needs is for people to be committed to stopping this disease. What we need is many organizations working together to stop this disease. What we need is for the most powerful countries in the world to lead the fight against stopping this deadly disease. What we need is for the countries that are ravaged by this disease to do whatever is necessary to help stop it. We also need these countries to be responsible and use the aid that they get from the rest of the world in the best way possible. What we need is for the people in these countries that receive this aid to also be responsible. They must use the aid given to them wisely they must also do whatever they can to keep this disease at bay.
