Ethical decisions of management are what make and break a business. Because of them, people have good working environments to work in being that they are ethical. Being ethical in management means that a business will have satisfied clientele, good employees and usually a great atmosphere to work in. When a business or anyone associated with the business makes an unethical decision, it usually catches up with them in the end not only hurting themselves and the business, but those around them such as clientele or investors that are also involved in the business. Encouraging employees to understand their rights and others' rights by conducting meetings with the employees on regular basis. Enhancing culture knowledge between employees is an essential factor with the globalization nature of business that we are in. "As managers we need to be very clear about job requirements and performance standards, we need to treat people as individuals, and we must evaluate each individual fairly relative to job requirements and performance standards" (Gascio 2005). Workforce diversity This merger will increase the diversity level and therefore it is important to educate all employees on (i) how to respect others’ opinions and values (ii) how to increase the level of understanding among the employees on the different cultures (iii) encourage teamwork and long term assignments with different teams(iv) encourage different ideas and thoughts for better decision making. Diversity should be linked to every business strategy (Gascio 2005).
