Human Resources are the department or support group that is responsible for hiring, skill development, firing, and any compliance with government regulations. A human resource department can be a critical component of any business whether it is large or small. Human Resources (HR) is responsible for payroll, benefits, and the latest tax laws ("Human Resources," “n.d”).
As Human Resources professionals, you add values to the company ethics. You are responsible for the company’s decision-making status, as well as the credibility and value of the company. The Human Resource department develops a strategy to help a company achieve its goal. It does the planning, recruitment, training, salary, incentives, employee’s benefits, and any career developments. Human Resource Management is very important for a company it can help build up and maintain a healthy working environment within the business. Human Resources is a team that keeps the wheels of a business turning, it oil the bearing.
Google is one of the leading Human Resource Management companies. They consist of recruitment and selection, performance management, pay incentives or rewards, employee’s benefits, and human resources planning. Let us look at each of these individually.
Recruitment and Selection
Recruitment is searching for a qualified position and your find that person, while Selection is trying to choose a person to fill in the position.
