Life is all about going the right way, or at least everyone’s trying to; but how can you be sure that you haven’t taken a left? Is it disillusionment or misguidance that often leads us to a path to which we have not even given the least of the thoughts? What is it that causes things which are not intended to; what is it that leads us to a situation that we could not have possibly imagined to land up at, exactly opposite to where we think we were heading to? Destiny is the answer; that shapes up our future; that controls and guides our each and every step as per our ‘pre-written fate’. We are just the puppets in the hands of the Destiny, which plays with us as we pursue our exhilarating roller-coaster ride of life; taking sharp turns and facing the ups and down on the way. But what makes it much more fascinating is the fact that we always intend to head in the direction which is absolutely contradictory to the one where we actually head to. These are some things which we have never understood or correctly we will never grasp. In the end, its just we are moving with the flow of time, doing nothing but just laughing on ourselves… “Why the hell is this happening???”
I guess this is life….a complete paradox…or at least mine is! When you are enjoying every second of the day, be it through PS2, laptop or a movie, you harshly realize that you are actually gaining nothing out of it and just draining your time like waste which could have been used to done other millions of ‘useful and beneficial’ things. On the other hand, when you get down to do something worthwhile; something which to do with ‘value-addition’ to yourself (as this term is very popular these days!), it feels like forcing yourself into the prison of boredom. You end up cursing the competitive world and even yourself for being a part of it! As contradictory as it can get…No Pain, No Gain! We spend more, but have less; we buy more, but enjoy less.
