The “bad mouthed “ Raja Companys scandal and how hey came ou of the scandal

Raja Company is a multi-purpose one. It has five branches in Ghana and one in Holland. The five branches in Ghana are at Odorkor, Kwame Nkrumah circle and three other satellite branches in Darkuman.
One branch deals in Photography, another in cars(Kwame Nkrumah circle) and the other three in general goods like( new and used phones, accessories, new and used refrigerators, washing machines, irons, blenders, cookers, sound systems, televisions and other appliances).
At the phone section, customers are made aware that there are new and old phones for sale. The new phones when bought, is tested and tried for the customer and he or she is given a few days guarantee. For the old phones you are made aware that it is slightly used and it is not 100 percent functional like the new ones. Any defects associated with the phone are also made known to the customer. After all this and the customer opt to buy it, then he buys it at his own consequence. This is because the customer is a given a receipt signed(by the customer) which indicates that he or she agreed and accepted the phone in good faith therefore the phone is not returnable should there be any change of mind after a day has passed.
It so happened that a woman who is a trader in the neighborhood after being told about the defect of a particular phone insisted that she wanted to buy it. After some few days she brings back the phone complaining that the phone is not good enough. Her phone receipt read that she accepted the phone and agreed not to return it. The attendant then said that he was not going to change the phone for her. This woman made so much noise attracting so many passer bys to the shop. Her argument was that if the phone had any problem why was it being sold in the first place, and the attendant also argued that, she was made known the defects and she still bought it also the phone repairers patronised more in the used...
