Taking a Picture

As a rule I do not put much thought in the inner or outer beauty of things such as a picture or the weather or of anything that a different person than myself would think of as ordinary but this assignment has made me have to dig deeper into my mind to find the extraordinary in what others would think of as ordinary.
The picture that I chose is a picture of my fireplace in the dark. The picture shows all of the detail and the brilliant light that is shown from the blazing fireplace. You can see the bright red and orange colors from the faux flame and you can feel the heat blazing that is coming from the heater that is connected. I chose this object for my picture because it has significance to me every time I feel down or I am upset about something I will go upstairs and sit in my recliner and stare at the flame and it will allow me to think about the things that has gotten me down which will allow me to resolve the problems in my mind.
On the other hand I do not always have to be upset to really sit in front of my fireplace because if I have a hard day at work or something I sometimes like to come home and grab a beer or a glass of wine and sit in my recliner and just relax for a while the fireplace is just a very soothing outlet for me.
The thing about this picture is the soothing nature of the burning flame and the heat from the heater I would like for other to pay attention to the flame the way they burn bright red and orange which to me is what is so soothing because it is the part of the fireplace that is very thought provoking this is why I took the picture of the fireplace in the dark because I did not want people to be distracted by any other part of the fireplace the flame is the most important part of the fireplace.
