He is always in a rush, she always takes things slowly. Sunday morning at 9:35 am, he is ready for church, and she still deciding on what clothes to wear, and fumbling with the mirror, hair brushes and make up. He is irritated because they are running late again.
He speaks English and Spanish very well. She primarily only speaks Spanish and has taught him well, but the English she has learned will make an old sailor blush. He has very good knowledge of technology like computers, faxes and Microsoft word. She still writes by hand.
He has no fear to travel to strange cities and meet new people.
She fears strangers and unknown cities with overzealous fear and horror. They will travel together regardless, but any flight that is over 2 hrs and 17 minutes brings extreme horror upon her heart.
He loves movies, classical music, art and theater. She dislikes classical music, and thinks of it as dead people’s music, and prefers the upbeat rhythms of salsa, bachata, cumbia and any other type of music that will play at a club or party. She is indifferent about art and theater, it bores her to tears to the point she makes a mockery of it.
He likes the quiet places and nature and to recluse himself in libraries like a monk.
She loves the rumble and sounds of the city; she generally dislikes the great outdoors, and sees it as a place infested of annoying bugs and vicious wilderness ready to attack at any moment. She thinks of libraries as a living tomb where all you do is stare at old dusty books that are useless.
He is respectful and passive. She is loud and aggressive.
He does not defy authority when he knows he is in the wrong. She will do it regardless and in most cases win the argument regardless how wrong she was.

They argue about the value of money. She likes to expend it frugally and he likes to pinch every penny. She will give out extravagant gifts you will not even get a gift card out of him.
Even though his taste in food is quite simple like corn bread...
