My interest for math all started in kindergarten when I was the only one out of the entire kindergarten class that could count all the way to 100 on my own. I know that doesn’t seem that big but for a kindergartener to do that is quite impressive. Ever since then, I have made math my favorite subject and something that I would always do. Throughout school I have been placed into the highest math classes that my school had to over such as honors all the way up to high school and in high school I made sure that I placed myself into the AP math classes. So I can say that I have always challenged myself in math. No matter how hard the math topic or how boring, I would always try. I intend to make a career out of math.

Math is a career that can be taken into almost every field out there if not all the fields. Math is everywhere today and almost a part of everything we do from telling time to seeing how much gas you need in your car and how much it’s going to cost. With that degree I hope to acquire a well paying job that I’d actually enjoy but that’s a few years away.
As for my short-term goals, I just hope to learn more about math and expand my knowledge on the subject. I want to stay ahead and not fall behind in college so that I can make use of my time and that so I don’t consider my time a waste. I’m in college to learn and broaden my knowledge. That’s why in this semester I plan to keep on top of my classes and to do nothing but my best and nothing less. After this year, I hope to know more than I did before I came in. I want to learn something new almost everyday.
In terms of my career, all I know is that it’s going to have to do with math. Why, because math is something that I love and...
