My Decision For Education The master’s of business administration, is it worth the costs involved? Yes! Many have asked if the benefits outweigh the costs. I have chosen to pursue my MBA degree and will demonstrate my personal reasoning and, why in general, higher education is advantages for all to obtain this degree of separation. From early childhood I have always demanded success in my performance in all aspects of life. This drive to succeed first came from my participation in sports. As I grew older and became my academic career through college, this same attitude carried with me. Once my schooling was complete and I entered the workforce, I quickly saw the advantages of success, and the difference in those who partook of this valuable lesson. I believe that this is evident in my results for the Jungian Personality analysis. Outgoing, visionary, low tolerance for incompetence, seen as a natural leader; All these were the description of my personality and how others perceive me. Having an end goal in mind and understanding the necessity of higher education, led me to pursue an MBA. The following paragraphs will demonstrate my reasoning. Some may argue against the pursuit of MBA, and looking at a few successful business owners who have not chosen to pursue graduate degrees, will say those people are proof that MBAs are not advantageous. For example, look at Bill Gates, one of the richest men in the world not possessing an MBA. These arguments are futile and meaningless. They are a very small minority of exception. A quick rebuttal would be the case of our recent president of the United States, George Bush. Possibly the highest administrative position in the world (the President of the United States) being filled by a man possessing an MBA is hard to argue against.
