Mcdonaldization of Society

Do you think the world is being “McDonaldized”? If so, or if it were to be so, what impact do you think this development would have, or is having, on the foods of the world? I think it is. Our present fast-paced, quick-moving society demands it. Not just in food production but in almost everything. People want more for less, not later, not tomorrow but now. Not all, I bet there are still some societies that value quality over quantity. But as “westernization” (I don’t like that word, it makes it seem like a disease, but I can’t think of a better word) slowly spreads throughout the world its becoming increasingly the norm. China for example manufactures almost everything quickly but the quality is not so good. But they only do this to meet...
