 In this world people treasure different things. Some of those things are material items and some of those things are living. What is it that you treasure? A car, money, a house, shoes, jewelry, a harmonica, people, your family, your friends, your significant other. Lemon Brown treasure a harmonica and a paper clipping that his son left with him when he passes away in the war . Mr.Ridley treasured his son and wanted best for him. Both Lemon Brown and Mr.Ridley have one thing in common if there is nothing else. They both have a “Treasure”. Lemon Brown was a lot like Mr.Ridley, Lemon Brown and Mr.Ridley were both that his son passed away middle aged men. After this fact they both have sons. Lemon Brown is a middle aged man just like Greg’s father. Lemon Brown tried to tell him that his dad is trying to do the best for him like he was his actual dad. Lemon Brown tries to protect his treasure and Greg’s dad tries to protect his treasure as well which is his son. Lemon Brown bonded like father and son and his dad also bonded like father and son.
Lemon Brown is homeless while Mr.Ridley is not. Lemon Brown was a former musician while Mr.Ridley is not. Lemon Brown wears rags while Mr. Ridley wears a normal attire. Lemon Brown’s son is dead but Mr.Ridley’s son is not dead. Lemon Brown has a strap around his leg that holds a harmonica and paper clipping on his leg and Mr.Ridley does not have anything on his leg. Lemon Brown’s son was in the army but Mr.Ridley’s son is in a basketball team called the Scorpions.
Everybody has a treasure that is either material or living. Lemon Brown has a treasure of a harmonica and a paper clipping that he got from his passed son. Mr.Ridley has a treasure which is his son that is still with him today. The importance of a treasure does not depend if it is material or living. It is what it means to you, what it represents, and the history it holds. This is the story of Lemon Brown....
