For centuries, humans have been using different forms of currency to purchase various items. However none of these items is happiness. Money is simply a way to facilitate life. Happiness is not measured by wealth; it’s the emotional or metal state of one. It’s in our nature to want more out of everything. Money is the only thing in life where the more you have of it the more you want, it’s a scary truth. Humans seem to be never satisfied with what they have, they always want the next big thing or the newest thing. Money is what motivates everyone to go to school, get up for work and so on. Benjamin franklin said “Money has never made man happy, nor will it; there is nothing in its nature to produce happiness. The more of it one has the more one wants.” Money is a way to gain happiness but it’s just temporary, you have to gain happiness by yourself money could be a tool to guide you there but it’s not the key to finding your inner happiness.
The more money we have the more you need it’s almost impossible for us to feel accomplished with what we have. Money could not be the source of happiness if it’s also the source of most the world’s problems, and if we don’t know the main one, try to go without money for a while see how long that lasts. Let’s take for example the war in the Middle Eastern countries with the United States involved; what did they do to have one of the world’s most powerful countries after them? They control a large amount of the world’s oil; in other words money. Money makes the world go around but it’s not just a saying, it’s the cold hard truth. Nothing happens until money makes it happen. No money, no happening. If the government cut off all the funding from schools the teachers would not show up to teach us. Things just
