My Carrier Goal
In the choice of a profession, that of the doctor, engineer, or industrialist gets more aspirants. All these positions are covetable. Our society has ranked them high not because they are of service to the community but because they mint money. No wonder every parent wants his child to be a doctor or an engineer. Some think that the doctor’s profession is the best. But, in my opinion, it is the saddest of all professions because a doctor has to deal with sick and suffering people always. An engineer’s profession is equally bad because he cannot do full justice to his work. He will be influenced and even bribed by contractors. He cannot act according to his own will and pleasure.
I would like to follow the profession of a teacher because a teacher is far different from any other profession. A teacher should be a model to his pupils. It is he who shapes the minds of the students. Students always try to imitate what the teacher says and does. So he should be very careful in all his environments.
Teaching is the noblest of all professions. But it is a pity that teachers are paid far less salary than an engineer or a doctor. A teacher has more duties and greater responsibilities than a minister or other high officers. Hence he should be honest and possess good character. He should have thorough knowledge of his subject and ability to teach. He should give his pupils timely help and advice. You must give respect and take respect and take respect. If you love your students they will also love you in return. I think I can act accordingly and hence I like to choose the teacher’s profession. I am sure I can shine as a teacher and make my country great and prosperous.
Do my plans look a bit exaggerated? But then aren’t they easier than becoming a doctor or an engineer, and more probable?
My greatest strengths are hard work, loyal, confident, frank passion for excellence, stay in positive and patience.
