My Story
My story begins in Orange County CA, in the city of orange. My parents Bruce and Chris Chamness had just moved in to their brand new house on 100 east Taft Street. The little house wasn’t much, but soon it would be a lot more than just a house it would become a home.
Six months after they moved in, my mom got news she was having a baby, and it was a girl. Nine months later on October 30, 1991 I was born. I was 2 years old when we made our first move to a bigger house on Pearl Street. It was two stories and much bigger than the first house. I remember my room it was pink with all color balloons on the walls and I would lie in my bed and reach for the balloons to grab one but they would always seem to be flying farther and farther away.
By my 4th birthday we were one the move again this time a little farther away. My parents had read about a brand new tract of homes in Indio CA, the Coachella Valley (The house I live in now.) As soon as I was 4 and a half I was entered in kindergarten at James Monroe Elementary School. I spent 6 years there from kindergarten to the 5th grade. From there I went on to John Glenn Middle School where I met most of the friends I have today 6th, 7th, and, 8th grade were some of the best years of my life spent having fun, making good grades and, loving life. Making new friends entails various chances – for new adventures, excitement and fun. This means that you will have to be open to new ideas as well as fun and excitement. Making yourself free for new adventures is the best way of learning and meeting new friends. Be brave and take the chance to bridge your rigid academic life and serious organizational role with fun and excitement. After 8th grade I came to La Quinta High School the most talked about school in the Desert Sands District. It is an IB school and is prided on their wonderful La Quinta Black hawk football team.
