My home town is seen as a tranquil area. Growing up here was peaceful and relaxing. What was great was that all the neighbors knew one another and would get together quite often. There would be a lot of interaction between the neighbors, both young and old. Being so close to each other was comforting as we could always count on one another. An advantage of living in such a tight community was learning to accept others, care for others and be welcoming to those that you don't know. As i got older, it started changing a lot. There were more house parties and rowdy neighbors and then crime became an issue. The neighbors stuck together and managed to take back and get our untroubled neighborhood back. My home town was, and still is very crafty and sporty.

Things to do in my area include going to the library, visiting various heritage sites or just learning some martial arts. There are many recreational facilities in this area and everything is easily accessible and most are free of charge. There are 4 soccer fields, a rugby field and a cricket pitch, which are all open to the public. There is also a stadium, which hosts both local and international events. Something that attracts many people is the national circus that has a variety of shows and can be hired for birthday parties or any other private events. Next to the circus is the area's swimming pool, which is open to the public. There are a variety of parks, ranging from general children's parks to dog parks that are available to the community. Another spot that is great is the river. You can pack a picnic basket and sit on the banks of the river or ride your bikes as there is a designated area for bicycles. Alternatively, you could go horse-riding along the river.

There are numerous popular foods in the area. These include sushi, pizza, nachos and burgers. McDonald's and KFC are also quite popular in the area, but not as popular as those mentioned earlier. Sushi is definitely the most popular food in the...
