All choices, which people make, are really vital, because each person’s step has meaningful influence to the further life. One of the most significant decision is choosing a future profession and an university, where this profession will be studied by the student. I had to make this important step to my new independent life this year, and it was very difficult for me, I compared all the advantages and disadvantages of different universities with their education system. One of the universities which I liked and which was fully suitable for me was KBTU. My first unforgettable impressions of KBTU confirmed my choice.
My coming to KBTU was an unusual feeling. First of all KBTU is a great, amazing building, which is situated in the center of Almaty on the Old Square. This enormous building has big columns from Tole bi avenue side, great halls with beautiful chandeliers and high ceilings, big Round Hall, where was the significant event Passing of the Declaration of Independence of our country.
Another thing that attracted me and my parents was contemporary educational system – credit based education. At first I did not know anything about it, but KBTU has excellent electronic sources, which gave me fully information about the educational style in this university. It was very unusual for me to make a timetable by myself, to choose teachers and language of an education. Choosing the language of an education gives us an opportunity to know three languages in the different aspects of the life. Consequently, give us an opportunity in the future to be in demand as a specialist able to communicate in three languages, which are required in all reputable firms. Another important thing is that we have core and elective subjects, the University gives us opportunity to make decisions ourselves.
I really enjoy environment in KBTU locations, very serious and strong on the one side, and free and creative on the other side. Most of our teachers and tutors are very kind and...
