Well I spent some time talking to my parents about me and how I was growing up. My mother told me that I was pretty good at listening and I always wanted to help out anytime that I could. She said that when I started school that I did pretty good until I got into the middle school and I had to deal with bulling from other girls. I did not talk about it a lot but it bothered me in a lot of ways. She said that I got good grades and tried to do what I was told to do. My father said I never would go to my mother and talk about anything or get any advice from her about anything because she was brought up that you do not talk about things like that so she raised me to be the same way. He said that I was very outgoing but was not allowed to spend the night with anyone and no one was allowed to stay with her either. He said that I was very fond of my grandmother and spent a lot of time with her. He said that I never really spoke my mind to anyone or would really express how I really felt and said he thought I was very guarded. He said I was very insecure and had very low self-esteem. I also talked to a friend of mine that I went to school with and she pretty much said the same thing that my parents said. I talked to an aunt of mine and she told me that she saw that I always looked for everyone else’s approval. She said that I was always so helpful but she thought that it was a way so that I could get others to like me. She said I always wanted to nurture others and make them feel good no matter how I felt. The next person I talked to was my brother. He said that he remembers me having a problem with addiction at an early age. He remembers that food was one of the first addictions that I had and that I overate when I was upset. My mother said that when I got in high school is when things really hit the fan. She said I started to hang around with the wrong crowd, breaking curfew, trying drugs and just pretty much trying to do what I...
