Capital punishment is the practice of executing someone as a punishment after a proper legal trial for a capital crime. Capital Crimes are serious types of crime like murder & rape. And in some countries this isn’t the case, treason, fraud, and adultery are the added political crimes.
There are many ways of executing a person with a death sentence. The methods for executing are - hanging, stoning (which is still used in some Muslim Nations), Electrocution, Lethal Injection, Beheading, decapitation, the Firing squad, the gas chamber

• ‘Over’ a hundred countries maintain the death penalty in both law and practice. Some of these are our biggest trading partners the U.S, Japan, Saudi Arabia, and China.
• ‘Also’ surprisingly 36 of these countries permit its use for ordinary crimes. ‘Although’ we do not agree with this aspect. We believe capital punishment is acceptable to be used only in severest of cases.
• The Chinese execute the most people per year with an overall estimate of 1,010 in 2006. However they have a population of a billion people so their executions’ per capita is very low.
