Global village and me
Ladies and Gentlemen:
My topic is global village and me. Today I’m very happy to be here to share with you some of my thoughts. And first of all, I’d like to mention a famous English poet written by Rudyard Kipling”we and they “:
“All the people like us are we
And everyone else is they
We live over the sea
While they live over the way
We eat pork and beef with cow horn-handled knives
They who gobble their rice of a leaf
Are horrified out of their lives”

However, when china accelerates its pace of opening up to the whole world; many people are also losing themselves in the ocean of western cultures.
