My own Personal Hobbies

People lead very interesting lives. And those lives are defined by what they do, who they meet, and what they leave behind. My life is focused around being in the moment. Throughout my years I have developed a strong passion for photography. As one would say, a picture is worth a thousand words. I believe that the moments in my life should be captured by not only your memories but also with a camera. Sure, memories are great but documenting an event when it happens and having a physical copy of it means so much more. By capturing an image one can remember how they felt during the event and it gives them a clear picture of what took place during it. As we get older our memories fade but I believe that documenting them is vital to sharing our experiences.
Furthermore, I discovered my passion in my freshman year of high school and have cherished it ever since. Up until freshman year photography had always been there but I never appreciated its qualities and the craftsmanship that goes into creating the perfect picture like I do today. High school is one of the many stepping stones that lead the way to adulthood. The reason I started participating in photography was because I came to the sudden realization that I am no longer a kid anymore. My life was now flying past me at hyper speed and I needed a way to capture all the events occurring.
Lastly, one of my greatest fears is not leaving anything behind in this world. Photography is my imprint on this planet and I hope to leave my work for generations to come. Our planet is so beautiful and it deserves to be cherished. I hope to continue my lifelong passion in my not so distant future as I attend the scenic campus of the University of Creighton.
