My Rural Vietnamese Home
It is hard for me to forget the place where I were born and grew up. The house is located in thinly populated village in Vietnam. At that house, I have many sweet and unforgettable memories. Although I had to go far away from the house for a long time, I still cannot forget my sweet childhood memories and every space of the house.
Leading to the house is a graceful curved path. To make the path more beautiful and relaxing, my dad grew different kinds of the flowers along the sidewalk. They were growing up as if they are little girls who always welcome us as the guests. My house is a wood house with a tiled roof. It is not big, but it has enough space for the four people in my family to live. It is located in the countryside, far away from the noisy city. In fact, some of our relatives came and stayed in our house, they could enjoy the fresh air and beautiful senses.
When entering into my house, one is in the living room. In this room, my mom often put a flowerpot which was cut from the tree in front of the house. In the living room, my dad put a wardrobe to worship the ancestors. This wardrobe is a souvenir that is made by my dad and his friends. It is sculpted with delicate curse. On the top of the wardrobe, there is the picture of my grandparents. They died when I was young, so I just heard about them from my parents. In front of the wardrobe, my dad also set a square table with some small chairs to welcome the guests. The living room was also the place where my family gathering together to watch television in the evening. In this living room, we felt very relax after a long day of working and studying.
Next place is the bedroom. It includes three bedrooms: first one was my parents’ room, second one was mine, and the last one was for my brother.
