Narrative Essay
In life there is more to achieve than receive. By this I mean, to go out and help others will do far more for yourself than to actually have everything self-centered towards you. I can say this from personal experience: I was that kid who wanted all the attention, loved to brag, and was more of an arrogant cocky kid who thought he was better than everybody else. Down the lines with opening my faith to Jesus I learned it is not about me. It is about bringing the community as a whole and working together to be better off as a family.
Growing up if there’s anything I knew about myself, it would be that I was a special child in my own unique way. Special in a way where I was great at everything I did, and was able to learn and understand things at a much faster pace than most children. At the same time I also knew these talents didn’t come from within but were given to me as gifts from the most high God. I was an Athlete, A star, probably even one of the most motivated people in the world. I grew up having a passion for things and if I ever did something it was because it came from the bottom of my heart. There are keys to life and the number 3 priorities that molded mine is God number one, Family second, and my Education Third. Following these rules I can say I felt the blessings and the struggles in this life but with the armor of God and the strength of the holy spirit there is much more to achieve in this beautiful world we live in.
At a young age I have always loved sports and I probably switched sports three or four times. I’m talking all the way from soccer to football, football to track, and than finding my one and only true love basketball. I started playing at the age of 10 and the first time I touched that ball I never put it down again. Playing sports required a whole lot of dedication, time, and sacrifices but at the end of the day I knew it would all be worth it. Starting...
