Ned Kelly

Edward “Ned” Kelly was born on the 3rd of June 1855. He was an Australian bush ranger, and to some a folk hero for his achievements of authorities. Ned Kelly was born in Victoria to an Irish convict father, and as a young mad he clashed with the police a lot. As years went on the police started searching for Kelly in packs throughout the Victorian bush. Kelly then murdered three police officers and was wanted him and his gang outlaws. The final event of shootings was at a place called Glenrowan; Kelly wore the famous metal armour and a helmet. He was captured and kept in Melbourne Gaol.
Ned Kelly was a big Christian and at an early age was baptized by an Australian priest.
Ned wasn’t the oldest out of his family but was the 2nd oldest with his older sister Annie who was only one year older then him.
Ned was a good child at school saving a kids life and getting great responses form his teachers. But when he hit teens he started to change and come of what you call a rebel.
Ned was told by his dad that one day he would be like him. And he also told Ned that he was a hero. Red Kelly who is Ned’s dad was convicted over more then 18 chargers in Ned’s childhood. And people wonder why Ned turned out to be a criminal.
Ned was taught how to use a gun at the age of 3 and held one form the age 6 and up. Between the ages of 18 and 21Ned was already convicted of 7 criminal charges and 3 months later after his 21st birthday he was put in Kilmore jail. He served three months then later came out and started delivering mail around the village. But was arrested every time he did it. Because the police new the horse he was riding was a stolen horse.
The thing about Ned Kelly is that he wasn’t just a criminal but he made people believe what’s right and go for something if they want to do it.
Ned Kelly has always had a problem facing the public relations.
