Negativity Reaction Paper

Negativity is all around us. The amount that is heard everyday when actually paying attention and listening for it is amazing. The most negativity that was discovered in my world was actually at work. I work for a Certified Public Accounting firm in Savannah and this is probably the best time to catch negative thoughts from everyone surrounding the firm. The staff was actually the worst because of the deadlines for the year-end payroll reports. There were a lot of negative comments made on behalf of our “slacker” clients that have a hard time getting us what we need to complete the reports. The clients also seemed to make a lot of negative comments that went unnoticed before the “thought stopping” process. Next in line for negative attitudes and comments were my classmates. Instead of paying attention in class and trying to learn, comments were constantly made about how their time was being wasted. When studying in the lab, negative thoughts were also heard about the amount of homework that was assigned in a specific class and the difficulty of it. This actually does not come as much of a surprise to me. I mean who likes doing homework. The thought process of this way of thinking never occurred to me as being negative because it just seemed so normal to not like to do homework. My way of thinking about this has changed. I plan to have a more positive attitude when it comes to tackling assignments...
